Dias Latinos

Dias Latinos is the most exciting Latin and Caribbean festival in the Netherlands for all the family. This free street festival will immerse you in such authentic Latin vibes that you may forget that you’re in Amersfoort.

The event is centred around music, which will transport you to the southern hemisphere in an instant! This is complemented with markets selling Latin American and Caribbean products as well as food trucks and stalls offering to-die-for food. Bring your kids, because there will be exciting Latin music lessons for children, including Latin drumming.

Live music and dance at Dias Latinos

You’ll find stages dotted all over the city, the main hotspots being Plaza Salentein, Plaza Tui, Plaza Hof, Plaza Mooierplein, Plaza Muntz and De Langestraat.

Some of the bands that you can expect to hear at Dias Latinis on different stages around the city are Dance Organs De Cubans Warn Up, DJ Juan Salsa, DJ Rick, DJ Latin Master, Tipiko The Hague, Maurino, and many more!

Latin films

You can watch films at the Theater De Lieve Vrouw for the occasion, not only during Dias Latinos, but for ten whole days in July, more precisely, from July 1-10. Plan your visit to Dias Latinos

Prepare for bustling streets and packed city squares during Dias Latinos. Some areas are simply not accessible by bicycle, so plan your route to the festival carefully. If you do plan on cycling, the festival organisers recommend parking your bicycles at the three main free designated bicycle parks: Amicitia, St. Jorisplein and Kamperbinnenpoort.
