Ready to be encapsulated by a capella sounds? Scheveningen Choir Weekend  (Terug naar de Kust - Korenweekend Scheveningen) brings choirs from The Hague and the rest of the Netherlands to the famous beach of Scheveningen. Choirs large and small, of many different genres, will converge in song on the outdoor stages in the third edition of this exciting festival. 

A varied and exciting programme

On the first day, the choirs will perform on stage, and on the second day, sea shanties will be the main feature. There will be six stages centred around Scheveningen's two most famous landmarks, the Kurhaus and the pier, as well as on the Keizerstraat, with an exciting programme of choral music of all sorts.

The festival takes place on Saturday, September 24, from 11.30am to 6.15pm. The types of choir and the genres of the music varies hugely: think pop, gospel, classical, musicals, jazz, close harmony, tearjerkers and children’s theatre. Each performing group will give two 20-minute performances.

Sing your heart out at Scheveningen

Terug naar de Kust - Scheveningen Choir Weekend is for singers of all ages, from all backgrounds and singing abilities! There will even be a singalong for a thousand voices, welcoming both choir members and festival visitors! The festival finale at 6pm will also include an interactive singalong, which everyone and anyone can take part in!
