Visit Keltfest, the weekend festival that lets you explore the Celtic era and its fascinating cultural strands! With craftsman's workshops, live bands, archery and markets, it’s in a world of its own. Keltfest takes place out in the open at Vijfhuizen between Amsterdam and Haarlem. In previous editions, it welcomed on average 10.000 visitors.
There are going to be many captivating performances by bands at the festival, many of whom specialise in music with an Irish or Scottish flavour. The confirmed acts so far are:
Instrumental music workshops teach you things you always wanted to know about the bagpipes and the hurdy-gurdy but were too afraid to ask. The blacksmith workshop will provide you with hammering skills. Take part in archery lessons to be able to shoot arrows like a Celtic warrior. Immerse yourself shamanic healing, and even mindfulness for kids.
Keltfest is located at Vijfhuizen, which is very convenient to get to via public transportation from Amsterdam or Haarlem. Keltfest takes place at the following times:
Buy your Keltfest tickets online. Day tickets are 19,32 euros online and full festival passes cost 30,82 euros. There are reduced price tickets for kids aged 4-12 and under-4s can attend for free. At the event, you’ll exchange your ticket for a festival wristband.
