Let The Hague World Bites take you around the world in four days of high-quality cuisine from all around the globe. At The Hague World Bites (Haagse Wereld Hapjes), visitors can taste delicious food from all corners of the world as multiple restaurants come together for a memorable summer celebration of food and culture.

For the fifth time in The Hague, food traditions from all over the globe are represented in this fantastic open-air celebration of food, no matter what happens with the Dutch weather!

International cuisine in an international city

The Hague is the international city of peace and justice that brings the world together. Being the embassy city of the Netherlands, the population of The Hague is a very international one, with one in three inhabitants having roots abroad. Imagine the diversity in cuisine across the city of The Hague with such an international population! 

The majestic boulevard known as Lange Voorhout will be at the centre of the festivities with not only food tents, pop-up bars and kitchen stalls, but also impressive music acts and some entertainment for the younger visitors. The Hague World Bites opening hours

Visiting the picturesque Lange Voorhout for this culinary celebration, some of which occurs during Dutch public holidays, is a long weekend well spent! Here are the opening hours of the Hague World Bites:

• Saturday, May 18: 12pm to 12am
• Whit (Pentecost) Sunday, May 19: 12pm to 11pm

The location of The Hague World Bites couldn’t be more perfect for visitors from out of town travelling by public transportation, being a very short walk from The Hague central station and very close to the main shopping streets.
