On April 22, the first Chinese Visa Application Service Centre opened in the Netherlands.

Chinese Visa Centres have been successful in other countries and thus, next to London, Paris, Brussels and Madrid, the Netherlands now has its own (Rijswijkseweg, The Hague).

The centre was introduced by the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands due to the growing demand for Chinese visas.

Chinese Visa Application Service Centres (CVASC) provide services such as receiving visa applications for ordinary passport holders who want to visit mainland China, collecting visa fees, returning processed visa applications as well as providing information about travelling to China.

Services offered by CVASC
› Website containing information related to Chinese visa applications
› Call center or e-mail reply of frequently asked questions regarding to Chinese visa application
› Online filling in the visa application form
› Online booking for application submission
› Extended office hours for submitting applications and on site queuing system
› Postal delivery services of submission of applications and return of processed applications
› Payment in cash or by debit, credit card and company check
