To make public events more accessible for the growing international community in Eindhoven, the city has decided to enrich an increasing number of its public events with an English programme entitled International Programme@events.

The international population in Eindhoven includes students, knowledge workers / expats, and their families, and has become an increasingly important part of the local community.

To accommodate this target group, various organisations focused on the areas of knowledge transfer, information services, or project development have teamed up on this new initiative, namely Hub Eindhoven, TU/e, Fontys Hogescholen, International School Eindhoven, Expat Center Brabant, Brainport Development, and Eindhoven365.

Plenty of English language activities are already underway. For example, recent events such as Hallo Cultuur, Marathon Eindhoven, Lichtjesroute, and Dutch Design Week all saw their regular Dutch programmes expanded with English websites and activities.
