After Austin (Texas), Ulm and Hamburg (Germany), the car-sharing initiativeĀ Car2goĀ comes to Amsterdam. Car2go is described as "the first personal public transport" that offers spontaneous car renting, free from commitment to a specific return time or location; an appealing service for short one-way trips.
Details about parking, charging and costumer registration will be announced in the coming months. Note that Car2go also plans to set up an office / subsidiary in the Netherlands.
