Sales Support Specialist
About this role
An international industrial company based in Zaandam is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to support its commercial operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
In this role, you will oversee the full sales administration cycle - from quotations and order processing to invoicing and coordinating international shipments. You'll handle both EU and non-EU transactions and serve as a key point of contact for B2B clients by phone and email.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including preparing quotes, processing orders, invoicing, and shipping documentation
- Communicate directly with customers across EU, Middle East, and Africa
- Follow and maintain distinct internal procedures for EU and international sales
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
What We are Looking For:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in international trade, sales administration, or logistics
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems; familiarity with Exact is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Fluency in English and Dutch; German is a plus
- A proactive and hands-on mindset with a willingness to grow and take initiative
