AV Programmer - English

Our client is a well-established consultancy firm based in the UAE, specialising in project management and related services. They are now seeking an experienced and dedicated AV Programmer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. 

Job Profile for AV Programmer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Design complex audio, video, and control systems standards and ensure adoption across global offices
• Develop and implement wiring and configuration standards for all AV systems, aligned with best practices
• Consult on new and existing AV projects and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders
• Perform routine administration of AV equipment and project site setups
• Troubleshoot, test, correct, and commission Crestron programming systems
• Develop and manage operational and preventive maintenance checks for all AV systems
• Work with all Apple products and provide full technical support as required
• Lead the design, commissioning, and projection setup for cinema systems
• Maintain the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of work related to the royal family
• Research, analyse, and recommend system improvements and enhancements for AV infrastructure
• Perform networking troubleshooting including diagnosing static and dynamic IPs
• Identify defective or failed equipment and take full ownership through to resolution
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Candidate Profile for AV Programmer

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage
• Bachelor’s in computer engineering
• 5 years of similar experience
• Problem-solving approach
• Team player
• Able to handle projects independently
