About this role

Are you an analytical finance professional with experience in procurement, financial savings and business transformation? We are looking for someone to support a large international FMCG organization during a major transformation project.

In this assignment, you will play a key role in delivering procurement savings, supporting the transition of the operating unit and providing financial support to the Procurement organization. You will work in an international environment with stakeholders across multiple regions.

As Procurement Finance Consultant, you will support Procurement by driving financial insights, monitoring savings initiatives and contributing to a major organizational transformation.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage and track financial savings related to project deliverables;
  • Analyze procurement-related financial data to ensure cost-efficiency targets are achieved;
  • Support the overall management of the current organizational transformation;
  • Facilitate the transition of the operating unit into its new organizational structure;
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support change management while minimizing operational disruption;
  • Provide day-to-day procurement support in line with the wider Procurement Business Partner team;
  • Collaborate with existing team members while maintaining a clear segregation of responsibilities.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights;
  • Experience tracking and delivering procurement savings;
  • Experience supporting transformation or transition projects within a corporate environment;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
  • The ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced international environment;
  • Experience working across multicultural teams and regions;
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI;
  • Fluent English.

Salary

  • 12-month project starting mid-August;
  • 40 hours per week;
  • English-speaking environment (Dutch is not required);
  • Freelance and secondment professionals are welcome;
  • Freelance rate around €80–€90 per hour (all-in);
  • We offer you a temporary contract via Independent Recruiters Flex with a suitable salary, based on knowledge and experience.
