Assistent Financial Controller

As an assistant financial controller in Aalsmeer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making. Working closely with the international controller and cross-functional teams, you’ll help streamline processes and deliver actionable insights that drive performance and efficiency.

What you’re going to do:

• Support the financial consolidation of multiple international entities, ensuring consistent and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual closings to provide valuable insights to management.
• Collaborate with various departments across countries to gather financial data and enhance workflows.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles by delivering data-driven recommendations.
• Review general ledger entries, month-end closings, and cost allocations to ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, and internal guidelines.

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive financial professional to strengthen our international team and drive impactful decision-making.

• HBO degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of financial administration or controlling experience.
• Proficient in Dutch GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS standards.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP systems experience (e.g., Business Central).
• Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is an advantage.
