NYE 2012-2013: More than a dozen ways to celebrate!

Dec 11, 2012

Are you planning to stay in the Netherlands to ring in the New Year? You’re in luck! We have assembled some of the best places to mark the occasion and count down to 2013 with music, friends and a glass (or two) of bubbly.

Ready to dance the night away?
Paard van Troje hosts Heaven, Hell or Earth with a trio of festivities to keep you dancing all the way to 2013!

Tropenieuw offers a fun musical line up in the swanky marble hall of Amsterdam’s Royal Tropical Institute.

Hed Kandi brings its spectacular, international party to Amsterdam, packed full of 3.000 party lovers, DJs, dancers and a fireworks show.

Get the last laugh of 2012 with dinner and a cocktail during Boom Chicago’s improv holiday comedy show "Can’t Dutch This," followed by a party at the Chicago Social Club.

Take part in a stylish celebration at Eindhoven’s Masquerade Midnight party or dance to quality techno and house music at Loveland in Amsterdam.

Interested in a more alternative agenda?
Then get ready for a night of creativity and adventure at Dazzleville. This New Year’s Eve festival features more than 50 bands playing throughout Amsterdam’s NDSM Werf!

Rotterdam’s Westelijk Handelsterrein and TweeduizendTrouw in Amsterdam both feature a fun combination of art, live music and a delicious dinner.

Dress your best and count down to midnight at a themed party. Canvas hosts a "far out" Hippie New Year party complete with fireworks and Amsterdam Roest will be taken over by swashbuckling pirates!

If a wacky and weird party is more your style, grab tickets for Freaqshow and join other eccentrics at this bizarre New Year’s rave taking place in the Ziggo Dome.

Prefer to stay away from the clubbing scene?
Catch the colourful National Fireworks Show live in Rotterdam, and keep the whole family entertained with live musical performances before the thrilling fireworks display!

For those who love to wine and dine, reserve a table at Amsterdam’s Midtown Grill and enjoy a gourmet New Year’s menu with New York strip steak, lobster, cheesecake and more! On January 1, the restaurant also features a special New Year’s day breakfast.

Still unsure? Let fate decide!
Check out our New Year’s Eve ticket competition for your chance to win free tickets to some exciting celebrations.

No matter where or how you choose to celebrate, don't forget to a take a look back on 2012 before launching into the New Year!
