Welcome to the Village festival is an experimental pop festival in Leeuwarden, Friesland. Explore the world of experimental pop music and get engrossed in music and nature simultaneously.

The festival is about pop sensations and big names in the pop world, but it’s also about discovering emerging talent. From rock guitars to hip-hop to singer-songwriters, it’s not only a music festival but also a celebration of theatre, art, innovation, food and design.

Welcome to the Village Festival line-up 

The Welcome to the Village festival line-up is as broad as it is impressive. Here are just a few of the confirmed names set to perform at the 2019 edition:

A green festival

This festival is known as the greenest music festival of the north, encouraging people to think outside the box and prepare for a greener, more sustainable future. An important part of the festival is DORP, a project taking place before and during the festival, which consists of a sustainable village that anticipates what a greener, more eco-friendly future could look like.
