Held in the beautiful, lush grounds of Het Twiske, just north of Amsterdam’s city centre, the 14th edition of the Welcome to the Future festival is packed with an exciting line-up of house and techno performances by 49 international and local artists across seven stages! 

A forward-thinking music festival with a green heart

The predominantly house and techno line-up is second to none, plus the stages are equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems, so you’re guaranteed to be impressed by the musical offerings. 

In combination with the natural scenery, Welcome to the Future is a top rated environmentally conscious event that also features a delicious spread of organic food and drinks. The green hills and beautiful forests of Het Twikse near Amsterdam are full of chill-out spots and plenty of space to dance and enjoy great music.

Festival food and drinks

Visitors can enjoy high quality, organic eco-friendly food, from the classic snack menu of burgers, French fries, pizzas, sandwiches, soups and waffles, as well as gluten-free, low carb, vegan and much more. There are many “water bars” throughout the festival grounds where visitors can take free tap water, as well as refillable water bags.

Plan your visit

Get your Welcome to the Future tickets online in advance. The festival runs from 12pm-12am and last admissions to the festival are at 10pm. The festival is for visitors aged over 18 only, so please bring your ID to ensure entry.

One-third of visitors to the festival come by bike, and, since Welcome to the future festival is eco-friendly, they strongly recommend you to do the same, because cycling means lower emissions.
