Marking this exciting time of year in the Mexican calendar is a great way to meet other expats and internationals and have some fun.

Celebrate another culture in Amsterdam from 8.30pm until 2am on November 2. Dia de los Muertos, which is known as the Day of the Dead in English, is a Mexican tradition in which people honour their relatives that have passed away.

Costumes are encouraged! Expect a colourful, fun evening full of music, dance, drinks, a costume contest and more. Bring your friends, family and colleagues!

Get your tickets in advance online. Tickets are 10 euros each and can be found on the Dia de los Muertos event page. Proceeds go to the Children of Mexico foundation, a charity to help underprivileged children in Mexico.
