Circusstad Festival

Circusstad Festival takes place once again in Rotterdam! Top international artists from around the world will be performing, alongside young, up-and-coming talented circus performers.

Circusstad Festival is all about circus theatre in the 21st century - an effortless fusion of dance, acrobatics, juggling, theatre and music, which results in spectacular magical performances for young and old! Families with kids are sure to enjoy the event.

Apart from featuring top international contemporary circus artists, talented young performing artists are also typically in the spotlight at Circusstad. The festival features students from the Circus Arts faculty of Codarts, Rotterdam’s prestigious performing arts conservatory. Artists from the Rotterdam-based Circus Rotjeknor and aspiring circus talents are involved in activities throughout the city of Rotterdam during the festival.
