Discover the newest art movements
Amsterdam Art Gallery Weekend, the five-day programme around Amsterdam featuring more than 100 exhibitions and events, offers visitors the chance to discover the newest cultural movements in the art of today.
The venues include galleries, arts centres and museums such as Stedelijk Museum, De Ateliers, Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten and the Oude Kerk. Below and on the organisation's website, you'll find a more extensive list of this year's participating galleries.
Each gallery will present special editions of extraordinary, affordable artworks for sale, each costing around 300 euros to 500 euros. These artworks will all possess the over-arching theme of "Infr-Ordinary", where banality takes on a whole new meaning.
