‘Allo ‘Allo meets Dad’s Army - Background information

The protagonist René and the others welcome you to the iconic café in wartime France. In the play 'Allo Dad, you'll meet all your favourite characters from not only ‘Allo ‘Allo, but also Dad’s Army. The actors from Mike’s Badhuistheater perform a charming production of this unique comedy hybrid.

Part one takes place in France in 1942. René is forced to send a long-distance duck to England, with Hitler's invasion plans. In part two, on the south coast of England in 1942, Captain Mainwaring is rehearsing a traditional English folk dance to raise money to buy a Spitfire, to attack the fascist invaders.

In short, all plans on each side of the English Channel are doomed to fail. There's guaranteed hilarity on all fronts!
