Greek modern singer Alkistis Protopsalti will be performing live with her band at Melkweg in Amsterdam for one special evening. Known for her strong Dorian, emotional and expressive voice, she first appeared on the Greek music scene back in 1975 and has since then collaborated with key Greek composers as well as world-renowned composer Goran Bregovic.
Having released 16 studio albums to date, Alkistis has sung for the Patriarch Bartholomeo and featured at the Olympic Games 2004 in Athens, Greece, running the flame and being part of the closing ceremony.
