The Greek theatre play Under the Stars will be performed in Amsterdam for one night only.

Prosopa Events and Alfa Idea are delighted to present the Greek play Under the Stars - Οι κάτω απ' τ' αστέρια in Amsterdam. Written by Tilemachos Tsardakas, the play features the prominent Greek actors Lila Baklesi and Konstantinos Bibis,

A love story set on a Greek island

Set in the late 80s and early 90s in a small Greek town on one of the islands in the Aegean Sea, Menia and Nickolis go to the same school, spend their summer holidays together, dream together and fall in love supposedly forever. They go their separate ways. Years go by but between them, there is a wild fire burning. What will happen when they meet again?

Under the Stars is the bittersweet story, which takes place on a Greek island, of two young people who leave their timeless mark on each other. It includes the final showdown of two lovers trapped by their choices. It proves to be a meeting full of emotion, humour, conflict and nostalgia. 

Eminent actors in a previously sold-out show

Following a sold-out run in Athens and other Greek cities, Tilemahos Tsardaka's play Under the Stars will be performed in Amsterdam for one unique show on March 14, 2019, at Boom Chicago theatre. 

Lila Baklesi and Konstantinos Bibis, two of the most talented Greek actors of the new generation, bring to life the great expectations and the harsh reality of a love story in a uniquely engaging way.

The play will be in Greek with English surtitles. It lasts 70 minutes and there won't be an interval. After the show, there will be a Q&A session with the actors in the bar of Boom Chicago theatre.
