Kansas City Symphony

The Kansas City Symphony has rapidly established itself as one of the United States’ most celebrated orchestras. Alongside its own symphonic season, it performs opera and ballet with the Kansas City Ballet and the Lyric Opera of Kansas City.

Led by chief conductor Matthias Pintscher, the orchestra made its Concertgebouw debut in the summer of 2024. It now returns with Rachmaninoff’s emotionally charged Symphony No. 3 and Appalachian Spring, Aaron Copland’s evocative orchestral suite inspired by the American landscape.
