The Pleinbioscoop outdoor film festival returns to the heart of Rotterdam for 19 summer nights of special screenings in the park!

Pleinbioscoop Rotterdam

From Hollywood hits to indie and lesser-known productions, Pleinbioscoop Rotterdam celebrates summer evenings and cinema by setting up giant screens to showcase a mix of delightful films.

Complementing the film screenings are snacks and live music from local bands, creating an affordable evening of entertainment for the whole family. Sometimes thousands of people gather to watch the same movie. You won’t forget this film experience in the park any time soon!

The festival site opens at 8pm with films beginning at 9.15pm.

Pack a picnic

Visitors can also decide to bring their own food and drink, so pack a picnic (no glassware though) and enjoy a film with your favourite snacks. The ticket also includes a seat for this edition of Pleinbioscoop, but you are more than welcome to bring your own chair and blanket.
