Experience a unique Dutch tradition at the Open Atelier at the Royal Delft Museum on Sunday, March 9. This workshop offers you the opportunity to discover the art of Delft Blue painting and create your own masterpiece. Royal Delft is the only remaining 17th century pottery factory where Delft Blue ceramics are still crafted by hand. No reservation needed!
You can drop in anytime between 10am and 3pm, with the last start time at 3pm. The atelier closes at 5pm, and painting takes approximately two hours per person, so be sure to arrive early to make the most of your time.
During the workshop, you can choose from a selection of beautiful items to paint, with prices starting at 29,50 euros. Once you have completed your design, Royal Delft will glaze and fire your piece in their ovens. Within a few weeks, your unique Delft Blue artwork will be sent to you by post as a lasting souvenir.
Please note: The museum entry fee is not included in the price, and items are available while supplies last. There's no need to book in advance.
