Gin Festival is back again, this time larger than ever and in new locations across the Netherlands! Taste the gin in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Leiden and Eindhoven.
There will be over 120 types of gin for you to taste, compare and enjoy. As well as drink stalls where you can try many types of gin, Dutch jenever and vermouth, there will also be food trucks with delicacies ranging from burgers to tacos and from Dim-Sum to hot dogs.
You will find no fewer than 120 gins, 14 tonics, 13 types of jenever and 12 types of vermouth.
The event has existed for 4 years, and now there are a total of five different cities in which gin-loving expats can enjoy the festivities.
The gin tasting sessions are just the tip of the iceberg: besides sipping many fine examples of gin, jenever and vermouth, there is a fascinating programme. Speakers will give talks about their roles and experiences in many fascinating facets of the gin industry, from distilling to packaging and meanwhile, there will be talks on the history of gin and cocktails, so you can get the full well-rounded back-story of gin. Also, the range of participating distilleries is very impressive.
