Participate in survey about expat voting and the upcoming local elections

Feb 15, 2022

The International Community Advisory Panel (ICAP) is an initiative set up by long-standing members of the Dutch international community to bridge the gap between expats and internationals and the government’s civic services. ICAP conducts several surveys per year, aimed at raising the international community’s voice and providing the local government with advice based on real experiences had by internationals.

Have your say and take part in this local election survey for expats

In the past, ICAP has conducted surveys about the effects of coronavirus on the international community and the views of expats on education in the Netherlands. Now, ICAP is turning its attention to the upcoming local elections, in which citizens and residents of the Netherlands will vote for around 350 new local councils.

Through this confidential survey, ICAP hopes to identify the main issues the expat community is facing and find out which parties are most likely to win the expat vote.

Calling on IamExpat readers

What are your experiences with Dutch politics? What issues are close to your heart? Will you be heading to the polls in March to cast your vote? Let your voice be heard and share your experiences in ICAP's latest survey.

The more people who take part in the survey, the more weight it will have, so take a few moments to take part in the local election survey before it closes. Responses will be collated, anonymised and presented to policymakers in a report.
