No waiting list, register now at Huisartsenpraktijk Keizersgracht

Huisartsenpraktijk Keizersgracht (HAPK) was founded in 2011. From the very beginning, this GP practice aimed to be expat-friendly. HAPK offers great service and personal attention to its patients, of which around 20% are expats.

Expat-friendly

Considering that the first point of contact for healthcare in the Netherlands is to register with a general practitioner (huisarts in Dutch), it is important to register with a local practice as soon as you arrive in Amsterdam.

Huisartsenpraktijk Keizersgracht happily welcomes all expats in Amsterdam. The HAPK GPs and assistants all speak fluent English and aim to make the Dutch healthcare system more easily accessible for those who are not familiar with it.

Personal attention

When you need medical care, you need a doctor who understands your situation and can find the solution that best suits you. The GPs at HAPK have a good understanding of the challenges expats and their families may face when coming to the Netherlands. Open communication and personal involvement are therefore a high priority for HAPK.

In-house care

The team at Huisartsenpraktijk Keizersgracht Amsterdam wants to ensure that good care is easily accessible. Therefore, they maintain excellent contacts with many medical specialists in the neighbourhood and have several in-house specialists as well. This includes psychologists and practice nurses for the treatment of, for example, diabetics and patients with COPD or asthma.

HAPK also has a station for blood tests at all their locations, so patients no longer have to visit a laboratory.

Online services

As an additional courtesy to its patients, HAPK offers several online services. New patients can register online and all patients can use the online appointment system to make an appointment. Repeat prescriptions can also be requested on the website. HAPK even offers email- and video-consultations.

6 locations in Amsterdam

Huisartsenpraktijk Keizersgracht has six centrally-located practices, which are all easily accessible via public transport.
