Greater Amsterdam is the best region in the Netherlands in terms of economic performance according to Rabobank’s "De Regio Top 40," an annual report that evaluates the performance of Dutch regions.

Greater Amsterdam region has a high concentration of business and financial services, numerous job opportunities and investment growth well above the national average among others.

Note that Greater Amsterdam (Groot Amsterdam) is a COROP region; a regional area used for analytical purposes by many organisations including Statistics Netherlands.
