According to Statistics Netherlands, 68 percent of Dutch Internet users are spammed (56 percent EU average) but infections (viruses, worms, Trojan horses) are rare relative to other EU countries since nearly all users (96 percent) have updated security software (virus scanners, anti-spam software, firewall).
