Logistics and Warehouse Specialist | ENG | Immediately available

Our client – one of the leading manufacturers of baby products and toys – is looking for a Logistics and Warehouse Specialist to join their team in Amsterdam. As a Logistics and Warehouse Specialist, your main responsibility will be to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service, and you will be working closely with the Logistics Manager, the Sales and Account Services team, and 3PLs to make this happen.

This is a temporary position for 7 months with immediate start, and during the time of the assignment, you will be offered a temporary contract through us, Adams Recruitment. Because of this, we are seeking for someone who is immediately available and can quickly step into the role and get up to speed.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure 3PL success by providing clear customer delivery requirements, maintaining templates, and reviewing special packing, labeling, and booking needs.
• Conduct root cause analysis to drive process improvements and prevent recurring issues.
• Create and manage operational reports as needed.
• Process orders for two key accounts and provide backup for China Account Services during holidays or off-hours.
• Support the Account Services Manager with 3PL coordination, sales inquiries, order tracking, and issue resolution.
• Overseeing the inbound logistics in warehouse

For this role, we are searching for someone who:

• 3–5 years in logistics, distribution, warehousing, or supply chain management, preferably in consumer products.
• Experience with 3PL operations and SAP
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and independent working skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building abilities.
• Highly proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and analysis)
• Energetic, self-motivated, and effective in a fast-paced environment.

This is an American based company with an office in Amsterdam. You will be part of an international team in the Amsterdam office but also work closely with the team in the USA. This is a hybrid role with the possibility to work from home 2 days a week on Mondays and Fridays. The contract will be through our agency for 6 months and there is a possibility that it will be extended.
