Our client is a leading international food and drink manufacturer with a broad portfolio of responsibly sourced consumer products, and production and commercial operations across Europe. We are looking for a French-speaking Junior Sales Manager to join their commercial team in Rotterdam. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven professional who enjoys managing key accounts, hunting for new business, and working with customers across international markets!

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop strategic key accounts across retail and food service customers in the French market
Take over existing accounts with guidance from senior colleagues, while proactively developing new business opportunities
Build and deliver customer business plans focused on turnover growth and profitability
Monitor sales performance, margins, and results, and drive corrective actions where needed
Expand product listings and distribution across both existing and new clients
Lead pricing discussions and support margin optimisation across your portfolio
Provide market insights and track competitor activity to support the wider commercial strategy
Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, NPD, technical, and finance teams
Participate in trade fairs and conduct regular customer visits in France

What You Bring

Master’s degree in Business or equivalent
3–5 years of experience in FMCG, with exposure to Retail and/or Food Service / B2B channels — grocery experience is a plus
Fluent in French and English (verbal and written); Dutch is an advantage
Proven track record in key account management and new business development
Strong commercial instinct with a hunter mindset and results-oriented attitude
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus
Analytical, solution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving international environment
Valid driver’s licence

What We Offer

Salary range 50 €– 55 € K gross per year, depending on experience
