Business Development Specialist – Security - English

For our international client, a global leader in the IT/Software market, we are looking for a Business Development Specialist to join their expanding team in Schiphol. 

Job Profile for Business Development Specialist
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Engage with non-profit and education customers to identify and qualify opportunities for security assessments and workshops
• Target eligible customers for funded engagements, secure buy-in, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver workshops
• Follow up on workshop outcomes and success measures, converting engagements into pipeline opportunities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all opportunities, ensuring compliance with pipeline hygiene standards
• Collaborate with sales specialists and solution engineers to grow and manage the security pipeline
• Collect feedback from stakeholders and customers, identify common themes and trends, and share insights with the team
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engagement strategies through knowledge sharing and best practices

Candidate Profile for Business Development Specialist

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Experienced in business development, sales, or customer engagement within the technology sector
• Familiar with security solutions and the non-profit or education customer landscape (advantage)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
