As a summer lab assistant, you will contribute to the smooth execution of evaluations and wash tests in a laboratory setting. Based in Hilversum, you’ll work within an international team, following established protocols to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll take on a variety of tasks, from preparing evaluations to operating test equipment that simulates home environments.
What You Will Do:
- Preparing: setting up evaluations by assembling test sets, emptying machines, and sorting laundry.
- Executing: conducting wash tests, both manually and with washing machines, in line with protocols.
- Testing: assessing cleaning products and air fresheners in computer-controlled test cabins.
- Supporting: assisting colleagues as needed and contributing to a smooth workflow.
- Organizing: accurately weighing, labeling, and documenting products and evaluations.

- An hourly salary of €17.64.
- A temporary summer job contract until the end of August.

Job Requirements
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated team player who thrives in a dynamic laboratory environment. The ideal candidate has an MBO 3/4 education in Laboratory studies or a related field, is proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, and has a basic command of the English language. You are capable of performing repetitive tasks with precision and are in good physical condition, as the role involves standing and manual work.
