About this role
For an international organization within the premium fashion and lifestyle industry, we are looking for a Retail Concept Designer. You will join a globally recognized retailer with a strong focus on innovation, brand experience and customer engagement. Based at the European headquarters in Amsterdam, you will contribute to the development and implementation of retail and shop-in-shop concepts across the EMEA region.

As a Retail Concept Designer, you will be responsible for the design, development and installation of the global and satellite showrooms, working collaboratively to deliver world class showrooms spaces to excite and engage the wholesale partners and retail buyers to drive sales of the products.
Your responsibilities are to:
- Design and develop creative showroom concepts for Global showrooms, from initial research and mood boards to spatial planning and execution;
- Create high-quality 2D/3D renders, technical drawings, construction packs, and large-scale graphics while ensuring designs are production-ready and aligned with budget requirements;
- Collaborate with Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Production, and Planning teams to deliver cohesive seasonal showroom experiences and global toolkits;
- Support project coordination, concept development, and toolkit creation in partnership with the Global Showrooms Manager;
- Assist with the build-up and dismantling of seasonal showroom installations, ensuring smooth execution alongside showroom operations and production teams.
In addition, you will contribute to improving existing concepts, gather feedback from regional markets and help define standards and processes that support efficient concept rollouts.
Requirements
We are looking for a creative professional who can successfully combine design expertise with technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
Your profile:
- 4+ years of experience in showroom, interior, or retail design for premium lifestyle brands, with strong knowledge of retail and corporate environments;
- Advanced technical design skills, including SketchUp, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Creative expertise in graphic design, large-format artwork, technical drawings, and a keen eye for detail, materials, and production techniques;
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and present ideas confidently to stakeholders;
- Passion for design and innovation, including global retail trends, sustainability, circular design principles, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Experience within an international retail environment is considered a strong advantage. You are detail-oriented, proactive and capable of turning creative ideas into practical and effective solutions.
