Abroad Experience BV is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic intern to support both our recruitment and social media marketing activities at our office in Amersfoort.

About Us

Abroad Experience is a recruitment agency specialised in sourcing international candidates with EU language skills for roles in finance, customer service, administration, sales, marketing, logistics, and IT. Our clients are international companies with their European headquarters in the Netherlands. We are a small, friendly, and flexible team where your input truly makes a difference.

This is a dual-focused internship where you'll be involved in both talent sourcing and brand communication. You'll gain experience in candidate engagement, content creation, and digital marketing while supporting daily business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

• Source candidates using job boards, CV databases, LinkedIn, and other platforms


• Manage applicant pipelines


• Screen applications and conduct interviews (by phone/video)


• Write and manage candidate profiles in our database


• Maintain ongoing communication with candidates during the recruitment process


• Prepare job descriptions and sales support materials


• Keep job portals and internal systems up to date

Social Media & Online Marketing

• Create, schedule, and post content across LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook


• Engage with our online community and post in relevant groups


• Assist with content planning and campaigns (e.g. newsletters, events)


• Create lead magnets and upload content to Wordpress (blogs, events)


• Monitor analytics and prepare basic reports


• Assist in brand awareness and online visibility initiatives


• Help with general administrative and organisational tasks


• Answer incoming calls and support the team where needed

What We're Looking For

• An enthusiastic, proactive and responsible team player


• Strong interest in recruitment, marketing, and digital communication


• Fluent in English; any additional European language is a plus


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Comfortable using social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram) and engaging online


• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a structured way


• Not afraid to pick up the phone or take initiative


• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Mailchimp, and Wordpress is a plus


• Knowledge of Photoshop/InDesign or basic video editing is an advantage


• Living in or near the Amersfoort, Utrecht, or Apeldoorn area is highly preferred.
