About this role
Our client, a global leader in casual footwear and accessories, is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join their HR Shared Services team. In this role, you will be the main contact point for employees across multiple countries, managing end-to-end HR operations and supporting a range of HR initiatives and projects while ensuring processes align with company policies and local guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions, covering policies, employee lifecycle processes, benefits administration, and leave management in compliance with local laws.
- Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS (SuccessFactors) for activities such as onboarding, promotions, terminations, compensation adjustments, and organizational changes.
- Prepare and process documentation for employee lifecycle events including hiring, termination, and internal transfers.
- Guide employees and managers on the use of self-service tools within SuccessFactors.
- Continuously review and improve HR policies, procedures, and resources to ensure best practice and compliance.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate employee files and ensure data integrity.
- Administer Leaves of Absence according to local employment regulations.
- Provide accurate and timely data to the Payroll team for processing.
- Support HR operational projects and perform additional tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or similar HR functional roles.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Dutch and/or UK labor law or familiarity with other European labor laws
- Experience working with international payroll processes is a significant plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service mindset with confidence and patience in addressing employee queries.
