DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General HR Activities- Working closely with the Human Resources Generalist and Payroll to ensure that all HR, IT and regulatory requirements are met for new and existing employees in a timely and accurate manner.- Support the HR Manager and the wider team in the delivery of HR elements of organisational and cultural change activities such as restructures, including assisting with preparing necessary documentation, keeping records and tracking actions.- Drive and support critical cyclical HR activities such as payroll, performance reviews and pay review Updating and maintaining the HR Information System data, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Work closely with HR colleagues across the business to monitor, review and update all policies in line with
- current legislation and best practice.- To keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and human resources best practice, knowledge sharing with the team to ensure continuous improvement in the service offered. Identify and communicate the implications to business areas as appropriate.
- Identifying opportunities, priorities and potential risks within allocated business area- Build strong, effective, professional relationships quickly, using a calm and positive approach to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Line Management Support- Deliver a professional and effective HR service covering the whole employee lifecycle to ensure that the organisation is correctly resourced with the right skills in the right roles- Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures, legislation and employment agreements through close partnering and supporting line managers to ensure that all company policies and processes are followed and completed correctly and on time.- Write and present information briefings on a range of HR related topics in order to guide & develop line managers skills and knowledge, working towards a strong and motivated management team that values their employees/teams.
- Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures, legislation and employment agreements- Working in conjunction with the hiring manager and advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies, ensuring that correct approval and sourcing processes are followed, assisting with interviews where needed and ensuring the proper on boarding of all new joiners
- Advising on staff development, through various methods such as appraisals, objectives and progressionPlanning.- Consulting on issues related to workplace relations and performance management, encouraging regular contact with team members, and assessing when to implement Capability or Disciplinary processes.- Supporting line managers with advice on pay and benefits, benchmarking team members and assisting with pay review processes/cycles

Employee Support
- To offer frontline welfare support, including sickness absence, maternity, disciplinary and capability issues.
- Ensuring a smooth induction process for new employees
- Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation

Requirements:

Desired Experience- Sound knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation in at least Sweden and preferable in Denmark, Finland and Norway.- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity – able to effectively cope with change, being able to act without having the total picture, not upset when things are up in the air, can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.

Our client is looking for a Human Resource Advisor for the Nordic Market.The Human Resources Advisor Northern Europe is responsible for delivering a pro-active and flexible core HR service to line managers, to support the organization and our employees through the employee lifecycle including recruitment, induction, performance management, employee relations and manager support to deliver their business plans and strategy. Also responsible for driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, documented policies and employment legislation.You have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar HR role and you have a very good understanding of labor law in at least Sweden and preferable in other Nordic countries, like Norway, Finland and Denmark. You speak excellent English and Swedish (preferable you also speak more Nordic languages) as your HR responsible area will be The Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
