Our client is a leader in the production and trade of power transformers and on-load tap changers delivering innovative and high-performance solutions for the energy sector, focusing on quality, sustainability, and customised products tailored to a client's specific needs.
They are looking for an experienced and ambitious Quality Assurance Manager to take charge of the quality department at their production facility in Sofia.
Job Profile for Quality Assurance Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Develop and implement QA strategies to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
- Oversee quality assurance activities to guarantee product integrity and consistency
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related issues proactively
- Build and lead a high-performing QA team
- Conduct regular training sessions to elevate the team’s understanding of quality protocols and industry best practices
- Manage and optimise the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Utilise and maintain ERP system to monitor and analyse quality performance metrics
- Identify opportunities for quality improvement and lead initiatives to enhance processes, systems, and output
- Analyse data and KPIs to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, both locally and internationally
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality audits and certification processes
Candidate Profile for Quality Assurance Manager
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in leading QA teams
- Expertise in ISO 9001 Quality Management System implementation
- Proficient in using ERP systems
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
