They are currently expanding and are looking for a Laser Technology Implementation Engineer to join their team in Plovdiv.

Job Profile for Laser Technology Implementation Engineer

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Work with optical, electrical, and mechanical teams to integrate laser technology into products and processes
Perform simulations, modelling, and experimental testing of laser behaviour and performance
Develop prototypes and oversee transition to production
Troubleshoot laser systems and propose innovative solutions
Ensure compliance with laser safety standards and regulations
Prepare technical documentation and reports

Candidate Profile for Laser Technology Implementation Engineer

Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of laser optics, beam delivery systems, and laser-matter interaction
Proficient in laser safety practices and regulatory standards (e.g., ANSI Z136)
Familiarity with CNC/robotic laser systems or laser cutting/welding is an advantage
3+ years of hands-on experience with lasers (e.g., fibre, solid-state, CO₂, diode)
Background in thermal or structural analysis related to laser systems is recommended
Experience with optical simulation tools (e.g., Zemax, LightTools) is a plus
Experience in industrial or medical laser applications is preferred
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
