- Lead the on-site execution of the construction phase of Capex projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget;
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards;
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to coordinate project milestones and resolve technical challenges;
- Oversee site logistics, permitting, inspections, and quality assurance processes;
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders;
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing industrial construction CAPEX projects;
- Proven track record of safely delivering projects on time;
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations;
- The rest of the team start between 6 and 7, so you will too as the construction manager;
- Dutch and English required for communication with all stakeholders;
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with all stakeholder levels.
Salary
8000 - 9000
Through our agency, you will receive a 9-month temporary contract. There is a possibility that your contract will be renewed after these 9 months or that our client will make you an offer of a contract; however, we are not able to guarantee this.
- Salary will be around €6500 - €7500 gross a month, based on a full-time position (40 hours a week), and is based on education and experience;
- annual leave days;
- Travel expenses will be covered;
- Pension plan.
