About this role

Are you a detail-oriented supply chain professional with a passion for customer service and international order management? We are looking for a Customer Supply Chain Specialist on behalf of our client, a global brand in digital lifestyle accessories known for its sustainable product range and a presence across 50 countries worldwide.

Please note that this is a full-time position (36 hours per week) on a 6-month temporary contract, based in Dordrecht.

About the Role

As Customer Supply Chain Specialist, you will join the Customer Supply Chain team and become the go-to contact for a select group of customers and countries, managing everything from quotes and order entry to backorders and delivery follow-up. The role sits at the crossroads of customer service, logistics, and sales, covering the full order-to-cash process. You will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Logistics, Demand Planning, Finance, and Marketing, while also contributing to KPI development and continuous improvement projects, including a new ERP system rollout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the ordering process for a defined group of customers and countries, including quotes, order entry, and backorder management
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers and the Sales team on matters such as shipments, price discrepancies, complaints, returns, and product portfolio management
  • Signal, follow up, and communicate with customers and logistics service providers on operational issues, including critical backorders, late or damaged deliveries, and unmet agreements
  • Analyse customer order behaviour and optimise delivery efficiency, considering factors like delivery frequency and minimum order value
  • Support the Sales team with clear, up-to-date information on order deliveries and revenue outlook
  • Coordinate customer-related matters across internal departments, and inform customers of product or range changes, including introducing new products
  • Develop, track, and continuously improve KPIs in close collaboration with customers and the Sales team
  • Participate in or lead customer improvement projects, balancing costs and benefits across stock levels, forecasting, and transport arrangements
  • Contribute to larger cross-functional projects, such as the implementation of a new ERP system

Qualifications & Skills

  • A completed bachelor's degree or equivalent work and thinking level
  • 0-2 years of experience in customer service and/or supply chain ERP and processes, ideally within an international environment
  • Fluency in French and English is required; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage
  • Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Accurate, analytical, and proactive, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills and a genuine sense of team commitment

What Is On Offer

  • A versatile and creative role within an international team of young, enthusiastic colleagues
  • A 6-month temporary contract via secondment through Adams Multilingual Recruitment
  • Salary in line with the job grade, along with attractive secondary benefits such as a bonus and pension scheme
  • Monthly get-togethers with drinks and snacks in the company's own bar

Interested? We look forward to hearing from you.
