They are currently looking for a talented User Experience (UX) Researcher to join their team in Amsterdam.
Job Profile for UX Researcher
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Represent customer needs throughout the product and design lifecycle, from discovery and validation to adoption, across a portfolio of products
- Apply and adapt appropriate research techniques and methods to meet specific project requirements
- Engage with customers to understand their unique needs, define and synthesise user types, use cases, and identify UX opportunities
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers to influence product strategy and roadmaps
- Validate features and design directions through participatory design, concept testing, and both formative and summative usability testing
- Analyse and synthesise qualitative and quantitative data from multiple studies and secondary research to generate actionable strategic and tactical insights
- Communicate findings through clear deliverables such as user segments, persona frameworks, jobs-to-be-done, user journeys, and task analyses
- Mentor other team members and act as an advocate for UX research across the organisation
Candidate Profile for UX Researcher
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- 8+ years of proven experience applying customer-centred research methods to inform product definition and design
- Experience in leveraging AI to enhance workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving (e.g., using AI-powered tools, automating processes, analysing insights, or assessing AI’s impact on the industry)
- Knowledge in planning and executing research studies, including setting objectives, defining timelines, creating sample plans, and choosing appropriate quantitative or qualitative methods
- A strong portfolio showcasing research work that influenced meaningful insights or product experiences, including research goals, methodologies, process, role, data visualisations, and clearly articulated outcomes
- Skilled in developing probing questions that resonate with both highly technical stakeholders and business-oriented end users of enterprise software
- Knowledge of user interface design principles, usability evaluation techniques, task analysis, and experimental design
- Experience designing and executing online surveys, as well as applying advanced qualitative research techniques
- Expert presentation skills to visualise technically complex topics and make them easy to understand with customers, as well as product management and design stakeholders
- The ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
- Experience in coaching and mentoring more junior team members
