HR Manager

  • Determine together with different MT members the profiles for new employees
  • Manage and negotiate with external recruitment firms for external hires and drive the entire recruitment process
  • Manage and optimize the (3rd party) digital HR system and manage individual employee files (contracts, holidays, illness)
  • Create and implement an employee life cycle process
  • Refine and constantly optimize the employee manual
  • Set-up, organize and participate in annual performance reviews of employees with MT
  • Act as first point of contact for HR related questions and operate as confidant for all staff
  • Work in close contact with our MT as the company is rapidly scaling
  • Take ownership of the general affairs for the Amsterdam office, supported by the office manager that reports into you

Requirements:

  • You have a Bachelor degree in HR(M)
  • 5 years of experience as an HR Manager/BP with all company HR aspects
  • You have a clear vision and opinion on how HR should be necessarily organized
  • You have experience in implementing your vision, preferably in a start/scale-up company
  • You are flexible, hands-on and looking for solutions, instead of addressing issues only
  • You have solid knowledge on Dutch labour legislation
  • As you are the first dedicated HR employee, you do not mind to address the full HR spectrum, form standardized work to companywide definition and implementation of newly designed policies
  • Willing to learn and take responsibility in transforming a start-up into a scale-up
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Available 32 to 40 hours per week
