We work with a leading innovator in sustainable food, specializing in plant-based oils and fats, advancing R&D, driving co-creation with partners, and promoting responsible sourcing in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals across Europe and Africa.
To support their growing operations, we are looking for a part-time Administration Assistant who can bring structure, accuracy, and a proactive spirit to their team in Amsterdam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage finance administration tasks such as invoice control, expense verification, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with preparing budgets, forecasts, and closing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with managing Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Coordinate expatriate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support IT coordination alongside external advisers
- Provide general office support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining filing systems, and managing supplies
- Help new employees and expats integrate smoothly into the organization
- Maintain administrative systems such as SharePoint
- Contribute to other tasks as requested
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in administration or finance support
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or Economics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Exact and/or Personio is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch and Japanese is an asset
- Valid work and residence permit for the Netherlands
- Open to flexible part-time work (18 to 30 hours per week)
- Willing to travel to the Wageningen office occasionally
