Executive Assistant
About this role
Provide direct leverage to the CEO by organizing information, automating routine work, and ensuring that high-value tasks move to completion quickly and at a consistent standard.
Flexible hours with daily written check-in and asynchronous updates. Focused almost exclusively on supporting the CEO; limited interaction with the wider team except when required to unblock work.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve the CEO’s “operating system” (calendar, email triage, task boards in Notion / Trello).
- Draft, edit and maintain crisp internal documentation, one-pagers and SOPs.
- Build and monitor light automations in Zapier, Make or Google Apps Script.
- Surface weekly metrics via spreadsheets or simple dashboards; spot bottlenecks early.
- Prepare briefs before meetings and chase next actions afterwards.
- Proactively challenge priorities when you see a faster or better path.
- Required skills and experience
- Native-level written and spoken English; Dutch is a plus.
- Demonstrated mastery of modern SaaS tools (Notion, Trello, Google Workspace, AI copilots).
- Ability to design basic automations independently.
- Strong organization, bias for action, and willingness to push for clarity.
- Startup or tech environment experience is advantageous.
- Open to junior candidates who can show the above capabilities.
Candidate location
Hybrid Amsterdam preferred (remote within Netherlands possible).
Salary
• Up €5,000.00 to gross per month on a full-time basis, plus 8% holiday allowance.
• A pension scheme to which the company contributes 7.7% of the pension base (pensioengrondslag)
