Unemployment rate stable in 2011

The average unemployment rate in 2011 was the same as in 2010, according to the latest figures released by Statistics Netherlands.

› Unemployment rate among 15 to 25-year-olds was nearly 2 percent down than in 2010
› Unemployment rate among over-25s was marginally higher than in 2010

› July - October: grew
› November - December: remained stable

Note that unemployment dropped throughout 2010.
