[Video] Why the Dutch Headwind Cycling Championships are difficult and amazing

You thought cycling to your job every day was hard? Think again! Once a year, the Dutch hold the NK Tegenwindfietsen (Dutch Headwind Cycling Championships) on the Oosterscheldekering barrier.

This year, this very Dutch championship coincided with Storm Ciara, which meant participants had to race into a headwind of roughly 120km/h!!! In the end, it had to be cancelled prematurely, for obvious safety reasons. Check out the awesome footage that Tom Scott shot that day:
