Rotterdam studio wins international awards for animation

Rotterdam studio, Trim Tab, has won numerous international awards for its new release, The Lighthouse. This wonderful black and white, stop-motion animation video was made with over 14.000 images over the span of seven years.

The story is about a man in a lighthouse going about his monotonous life when all of a sudden he makes a surprising discovery.

The Lighthouse has been shown at 34 film festival, winning Best Animation at the Miami Short Film Festival 2016, and Best of the World at Hiroshima International Animation Festival 2016.

It was featured at three festivals in the Netherlands, which included Holland Animation Film Festival 2016, KloosterKino 2016, and KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival 2016.
