Keep on singing and dancing with Dutch National Opera & Ballet

Apr 2, 2020

The Dutch National Opera and Ballet in Amsterdam is now online! Go to the Dutch National Opera and Ballet website, where you’ll find plenty of online resources to keep young and old entertained.

The renowned organisation believes that “opera and ballet can offer comfort, distraction, inspiration and hope.” Their online portal can bring generous amounts of those things into your life while staying safe indoors!

Enjoy opera and ballet via streaming

There are videos you can stream of recently recorded performances, letting you re-visit highlights of the recent past. For some, this could even be the moment for you to watch a full-length opera for the very first time. Watch operas like The Magic Flute and The Barber of Seville from start to finish!

Special online opera and ballet activities for adults and kids

The website also offers challenges, quizzes, games, dance workouts, tips from singers and dancers and recorded messages from world-class opera and ballet stars. There’s a special section for kids, with opera sing-along, ballet dance-along, drawing, crafts and other fun things to keep kids busy during these testing times.
