Win a copy of Ride with me Amsterdam or a free city bike tour

IamExpat is offering two copies of "Ride with Me Amsterdam" by Roos Stallinga, and one free private bike tour with the author.

To win, simply leave us a message below telling us why you think you should win a book or a bike tour!

Having also released "Ride with me NYC", and getting ready to publish "Ride with me Barcelona" at the end of the year, Roos Stallinga has created a two-wheeled guide to help you navigate Amsterdam’s cycle lanes. This book takes you beyond where a conventional guide book would, therefore it’s perfect for tourists, expats and locals alike.

Ride your bike like a local

The book offers tutorials in how to use the bicycle lanes without getting told off by other cyclists, helping newbie cyclists get into the flow of urban bike traffic. The specially-outlined bike routes bring you all over Amsterdam from north to south and from east to west, even beyond the city limits out to green fields, lakes and the beautiful sea.

"Ride with me Amsterdam" outlines ideal routes to an insider’s city highlights, from parks and attractions to recommended cafes, restaurants and bars. There are even interviews with local cyclists who give verdicts on their own favourite places to cycle.

Ride with the author

One lucky winner will get a free bike tour around Amsterdam with the author. Roos knows the city inside out: “To make this book I went travelling in my own city. It was fun and inspiring. Everywhere I found stories and had interesting encounters.” With this experienced city cyclist, you’ll be in great hands!
