IN Amsterdam is giving a free career orientation seminar for internationals who have moved to the Netherlands to accompany their partners. House of Skills, ACCESS and IN Amsterdam will help newcomers to navigate the career climate for expats in the Netherlands.

Topics will include career support, start-up jobs, language skills and volunteering during career orientation. Find out more about the job market at IN Amsterdam’s careers seminar, tackle key issues about Dutch employment and social aspects of working in the Netherlands. 

Career seminar location

De Workvloer (The Work Space) is located on the first floor of Amsterdam Public Library (OBA). The address is Oosterdokskade 143, 1011 DL, Amsterdam and the library is a five-minute walk from Amsterdam central station.

Careers Seminar programme

Here’s what you can expect at the careers seminar for expat partners at the OBA on March 10:

• 1pm: Arrival at De Workvloer
• 1.15pm-2.10pm: Plenary sessions by House of Skills, ACCESS and IN Amsterdam
• 2.15pm-2.40pm: Break-out sessions on career support, start-up jobs, language skills and volunteering
• 2.40pm-3pm: Closing and drinks
